1 cup Mint leaves

1/2 cup coriander

Juice of 1 lemon

Roasted gram (hurigadle) 2 tbsp

4 green chilli

1/4 tbsp jeera

a pinch of asafetida

2 tbsp thick tamarind paste

Salt to taste

Use a little black salt for extra taste



  1. Grind chilli, jeera,asafetida,tamarind, roasted gram,lemon juice

2. Add the remaining ingredients , add little water and grind  to a smooth paste

3. Freeze in portions for later use

Use As required in chaats, sandwiches, lassi, salads, accompaniment for stuffed paratha, rice
